Heavy Mouth are pretty heavy, but they’re mostly mouth. Vocal harmonies command attention over the alt-rock substrate they grow out of. Their crop of short, loud, meter-changing, guitar driven tracks shares the garden with the likes of Foo Fighters, Alice in Chains and Stone Temple Pilots — the veggies Mike and Matt ate as kids.

Their recent singles “Good Friday” and “Blind to Sound” (paired with their extremely DIY music videos) are part of a balanced breakfast on any streaming platform.
